    From East

    • Travel on Posidonos Avenue(the main coastal road).
    • Continue through the Kavouri district to Vouliagmeni.
    • The resort is located in the coastal Vouliagmeni district, approximately 15 miles (24km) south of Athens city center.

    From Athens International Airport

    • Drive through Attiki Odos (highway in front of the airport building).
    • Continue in the left direction towards Vari when the highway makes like a fork.
    • Proceed through Varis-Koropiou Avenue.
    • Turn left at the traffic lights at Athinas Avenue.
    • Turn right at Apollonos Street.
    • Proceed and you will reach the main gate of our complex.

    From Athens City Center

    • There are two major roads you can take: Posidonos Avenue, which is the coastal road or the inland Vouliagmenis Avenue.
    • If you choose Vouliagmenis Avenue, it will merge into Posidonos Avenue as you enter the Voula district.
    • Continue on this road a few more miles into the Vouliagmeni dostrict.
    • Follow the signs to the Astor Palace peninsula to find the resort.
    • The resort is located about 15.5 miles (24km) south down the coast from  Athens.

    From Glyfada/Piraeus (North)

    • Depart south on either Posidonos Avenue (the main coastal road) or Vouliagmenis Avenue ( the inland road, which soon merges into Posidonos) all the way to the Vouliagmeni district.
    • Follow the signs to the Astir Palace peninsula to find the resort.
    • The resort is only 10-15 minutes south of the district of Glyfada, including its golf course.

    From Patra

    • Travel on the main national highway (Route 8/E65) each, which mostly runs just slightly inland along the coast. 
    • As you  approach Athens, this road coincides with the E94.
    • As they branch off, remain on the E94 into the center city.
    • Then take the E75 south. At the end of the E75, pick up Posidonos Avenue (the main coastal road).
    • Continue all the way to the Vouliagmeni district. Follow the signs to the Astir Palace peninsula to find the resort.

    If you are arriving to the port of Patra on the Peloponnese peninsula drive approximately 2.5 hours east to reach the resort.

    From West

    • Take Attiki Odos to the Vari district.
    • Continue through the Kavouri district to Vouliagmeni.
    • The resort is located in the coastal Vouliagmeni district approximately 15 miles (24km) south of Athens city center.

    From South

    • Follow the signs north to Athens. Branch off to the Vouliagmeni district.
    • The resort is located in the coastal Vouliagmeni district, approximately 15 miles (24km) south of Athens city center.

    Arion, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa is easy to reach, located only about 15.5 miles (25 km) from Eleftherios Venizelos, the new Athens International Airport, and the same distance from the city center, a major transportation hub.     By Air

    The resort has a private heliport, which can be used by guests upon request. Contact us to make arrangements.

    By Hotel Shuttle

    The resort runs a daily complimentary shuttle service for all guests to and from Athens city center. The shuttle departs the resort each morning at 9:30am, and leaves the city center at 3pm to return to the resort.

     

    By Taxi

    Taxi service to the resort is available from the airport, Athens city center, and the main regional port of Piraeus. A taxi from all these locations will cost approximately Euro 20. Note that extra charges apply after midnight. 
    We are happy to pre-arrange a taxi or limousine pick-up for you from any of these locations, or to pick you up at the resort upon your departure.

     

    By Train

    Athens city center has extensive train service connecting it to many other European cities. If you're arriving in the city by train, you can reach the resort by car, taxi, or our complimentary shuttle.

     

    By Waterway

    The major port town of Piraeus is just 15.5 miles (24 km) away, with frequent passenger services from throughout Europe. From there, it's a 45-minute drive by car or taxi.
